The UK Conference 2008 is approaching!
We’ve still got a few places left so you can still book if you want to come… but hurry up please!
Want to know what’s going to happen?
Well the honest truth is that the programme is constantly evolving, so we cant say for sure what will happen… BUT it will include things like big meetings with speakers, and stuff like that, as well as smaller meetings – looking at what we’ve got planned for the coming year, and ongoing projects such as Business as mission, and so on.

So far the discussion forums and seminars that have been planned include:
- Global Journeys for 2008
- Training and opportunities, ways you can learn and work with us
- Business as mission – a growing focus of our movement
- Adventures… it’s kind of what we’re all about really
- World Horizons for Students
- Poverty and Reconciliation – the challenge of real interaction
We’re also planning a range of activities for children, and kids always enjoy Cefn Lea ’s wintery environs – so do the adults actually.
As part of the weekend we’ll be having a special family communion time, aimed at involving the youngest amongst us to participate fully in the ritual.
Watch this space, we’ll try and update it with more info to come as things take shape, but be warned, spaces are limited and if you want guarantee your place, you do need to book now.
The conference will be held at Cefn Lea Park , Mid Wales, we’re praying for snow,but only after you’ve all arrived. The costs stated below include full board and accommodation. If you can only come for the day on Saturday – we’ve got a day visitor rate so if you would like to book only for this day, then please tick the appropriate box on the booking form.

We will be running children’s activities for all age groups. If you want to know more – send us an email.

Download and print the booking form (pdf file). Please complete all the sections and return it by post. If you prefer, you can e-mail your reply with full details via the contact page.
Other Accomodation:
There is other accommodation available locally – so if you fancy the comforts of a B and B rather than the slightly more ‘rustic’ charms of Cefn Lea ’s log cabins, then ask us for details.
Payment:
After we’ve received your booking form, you will be sent a letter with further information plus an invoice, payable in advance or on arrival at the gathering. Cancelled bookings made in December will not be eligible for a refund.
Booking Date:
PLEASE book as early as you can to help ensure we can accommodate you. There is a little flexibility, so if you’re unable to confirm your attendance but would like to make a provisional booking, please let us know as soon as possible.
Very late bookings may incur an extra charge. Last year’s gathering again saw us stretched to full capacity – if you get in touch today, we shouldn’t have to turn you away! |
