WHAT is for you....
|
WHAT (World Horizons Accredited Training) is accredited through NCIU. It is open to any mission-minded Christian.
WHAT offers under and postgraduate degrees in Intercultural Studies or Theology:
- Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies
- Bachelor of Theology
- Master of Philosophy in Intercultural Studies
- Master of Theology
The difference between a Theology and Intercultural Studies degree is the emphasis. A degree in Theology majors on theological subjects, and at Master level basic knowledge of Hebrew and Greek is helpful but not required. A degree in Intercultural Studies focuses predominantly on missiology.
Part-Time Study
All programmes and courses can be taken on a part-time basis and combined with active ministry or work commitments. Each student can work at his/her own pace. There is no time limit but it is in your own interest to not let it go on for too long. It can be helpful to set oneself a deadline. This can be discussed with each student during the assessment.
Distance Learning
WHAT offers essentially distance learning (correspondence) programmes. Additionally WHAT will host a number of interactive lectures every year. Students are encouraged to attend a seminar at least once a year where possible for stimulation, fellowship and mentoring purposes. Lectures will be recorded, too, and can be purchased for a small fee as downloads or on CD.
